Galatians: No Additives

Galatians is a small-group study through the Apostle Paul’s letter to the Galatians. It is part of the “By the Book” series developed by Pastor Brent Stephens and the staff of Four Points Church in Acworth and Cartersville, Georgia.

Each week’s study contains key insights, stories, and questions centered around the themes of Love, Devotion, Passion, and Legacy.

This overview is not meant to be exhaustive, but rather a primer designed to accompany the weekly sermon. Through the sermon, you will gain a deeper understanding of the theological weight of the text as well as its practical application in everyday life.

LOVE — The Christian life begins and matures through God’s love transforming your heart. The goal is for you to recognize and understand the depth of God’s love.

DEVOTION — Love begins our relationship with God, while devotion deepens it. Each week, we ask questions focused on the biblical text itself to sharpen your understanding and help you grow in your knowledge of the Gospel.

PASSION — When you experience God’s love and devote yourself to His Word, it ignites a passion within you. Passion is about burning for Christ in this world and actively joining His mission. These questions are meant to encourage loving service toward others in Jesus’ name.

LEGACY — When your heart, mind, and hands are fully engaged in the Gospel of Christ, fruit follows. The questions in this section are designed to help you think beyond your own life and consider the legacy you will leave through discipleship, family, and community.
