In this third volume of the Living as Pentecostal Disciples series, Drs Hall, Martin, and Tomberlin delve into the many Scriptural facets of the Lord Jesus’ saying that “it is more blessed to give then to receive.” A giving nature is characteristic of the Spirit-led lifestyle. Indeed, in A Giving People, the authors bring to the reader a Pentecostal study of the giving Christian Life.

In Week One “Giving Yourself Spiritual Life” is based on the premise that a Christian cannot give what he or she doesn’t already possess themselves – especially the life of a living walk with Jesus. Week Two discusses how giving to God your “treasure,” is based upon spiritual priorities, your good stewardship, your attitude of gratitude and much more. While Week Three teaches the reader to give yourself and bless others with your own spiritual gifts, Week Four shows to us the spiritual significance and Scriptural injunction of giving back to God what is already His – tithing! A Giving People will greatly strengthen a Christian disciple to be like Jesus Who gave us His all. The God Who gives to us also desires to give through us!
