Beyond The Mist

Beyond The Mist

The book is authored by Tim Hill, Divisional Liaison for World Evangelization and Assistant General Overseer of the Church of God. Divided into 12 chapters and including a study guide, the book is written so that each chapter can be taught in weekly bible studies, small groups or used by pastors in a series of sermons promoting renewal and revival in the local church. This is where the Powerpoint will be most effective. “I especially wanted to write a book that laity along with pastors could utilize, Hill stated. “I approached this challenge with our wonderful laity in mind.” more

During his twelve-year tenure as director of Church of God benevolence ministries (1994-2006), the Division of Care was begun. Under his leadership, a $5 million General Assembly offering was received, enabling the establishment of thirty-five children's homes around the world. Also, Operation Compassion was organized, which has become one of the world's most effective relief agencies. Douglas LeRoy, former director of World Missions, said, "John D. Nichols was a man of integrity and vision. his powerful preaching and compassionate care impacted millions." more
