Bobby G. Duncan has served as pastor of the Parma Park, Ohio, Church of God since 1994. He and his wife, Sandra, are known for their compassionate pastoral ministry. His previous books are God’s Deafening Silence, Journey of Faith, Trading Sunshine for Rain, and Nothing to Win but the World. “The Russian novelist Leo Tolstoy wrote, ‘Truth, like gold, is to be obtained not by its growth, but by washing away from it all that is not gold.’ In Is Truth Enough?, Bobby Duncan makes the case for absolute truth being found only in the Word of God.”—Mark L. Williams, Church of God general overseer “The core question some are asking in ministry today is, ‘Can I afford to be true to the truth?’ Pastor Bobby Duncan addresses this crucial issue with studied and focused precision.”—Tim Hill, Church of God World Missions director “I highly recommend Is Truth Enough? to every pastor, teacher, and youth leader.”—Ron Martin, Church of God administrative bishop, Great Lakes Region more

Life In The Exit Row (Paperback)

This book is…classic Tim Hill. It’s easy to read and easy to understand, and it’s hard to put down once you’ve started. He is one of those individuals who has been called “road warriors” – people whose work requires them to spend much of their time on the road, in airplanes and hotel rooms. It is from this experience that he writes these delightful short reflections which will resonate with readers everywhere, whether they are “frequent flyers” or not. more

Life Is Harder Than We Thought

Without tests and trials, we would have no laboratory to understand and evaluate the blessedness of God`s faithfulness and promises. The larger story of your life and mine have been those challenges, those moments when all that you are and believe are pressed and tested to the limits. "Either we believe God no matter what or we walk with God conditionally!" more

Lighted Trail PB

Lighted Trail PB

One of the most challenging summonses for the Christian movement in America is the call to respond to the echoing cry rising from its truly indigenous people, the American Indians. According to the 2010 census, 5.2 million people in the US classified themselves as such, either alone or in combination with one or more other races. Out of this total, 2.9 million people identified as American Indian and Alaska native alone. With all the mission causes embraced by the Christian movement in America, one of the closest mission fields for the church continues to be the American Indian population, especially those residing on reservations. This story is of one Chippewa Indian’s conversion to Christianity as a teenager, and his enduring passion to serve his own people. It is a story of how God can use one person to make a notable difference in the lives of so many—in confines of a small community and in the broader context of a nation. more

This work, based on a challenge from God found in Zechariah 10, challenges the church to press through spiritual lethargy and move into an arena of spiritual power. The modern church, particularly the American church, in spite of improved methodology and the emergence of the "megachurch," had been losing ground over the last few decades. Numerical loss, financial loss, and worst of all, spiritual loss, has been the bane of the American church and must be addressed. The author contends that while we must maintain excellence in every area of ministry, to continue the current track of ignoring the powerful spiritual dynamic of the presence of the Holy Spirit-in both our lives and our corporate worship settings-will hasten our demise. The answer, found in the call from heaven through Zechariah, is for both individuals and the church to earnestly call out to God for MORE of His glory. more
